The time is now.

At 35 years old, former UFC flyweight contender Molly McCann is wasting no time as she continues her transition from the octagon to the ring. Less than three months after defeating Ebonie Cotton by unanimous decision, McCann has announced that she will be returning to the ring on February 21, 2026, at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena in front of a sold-out crowd against an opponent to be announced at a later date.

“Trust me, the atmosphere at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham is going to be absolutely electric,” McCann, 35, told her promoter, Matchroom Boxing. “I’m looking forward to sharing the rest of the card with some incredible fighters. But, mainly, I’m very excited to show how much I have levelled up since my last fight and get this massive year off to a good start. It’s huge for me.”

McCann will serve as one of the featured attractions for an upcoming Matchroom Boxing event headlined by former world champions Leigh Wood and Josh Warrington. In their first bout, Wood, down on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage, scored a seventh-round knockout win against Warrington. More than two years later, Warrington will look to settle the score while Wood seeks a satisfying win against his bitter rival.

“I cannot wait to fight on the Wood-Warrington II undercard,” McCann said. “I know how amazing both sets of fans are.”

Alongside McCann, Ishmael Davis will defend the British Super Welterweight Championship against Bilal Fawaz. Sandy Ryan will also return to the ring in an attempt to win the vacant WBO Super Lightweight Championship against Mexico’s Karla Ramos Zamora. The event will be broadcast live on DAZN from Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
